Focus: Economically and socially vulnerable widows in need of livelihood support, psychosocial care, and legal awareness
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project aims to empower widows through enterprise development, group savings and loaning, and psychosocial support. It also addresses critical legal and social issues by raising awareness on succession rights and property protection. By combining economic empowerment with emotional well-being and legal literacy, the initiative seeks to foster long-term resilience and dignity for widows in their communities.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Build the capacity of widows in enterprise development and financial management, enabling them to start and sustain income-generating activities.
Strengthen community-based savings and loaning groups to improve financial access and mutual support among widows.
Provide psychosocial support to help widows cope with grief, isolation, and stigma.
Create awareness on succession laws and property rights, ensuring widows are informed and protected against land and asset dispossession.
